About Kansas Agritourism

The Kansas Agritourism Promotion Act was signed into law in 2004. The purpose of the act is to promote the growth of the agritourism industry in Kansas. Benefits of the legislation include:

  • The promotion of agritourism businesses through ²èÅ®·».
  • A layer of limited liability protection through registration and display of appropriate signage, which advises visitors of inherent risks.

To qualify for the program, you must provide some type of visitor activity or experience directly related to agriculture or farm life.

You must also currently market these experiences on a website and/or social media page so that visitors are aware of the opportunities they can experience in Kansas!
